Alzheimer’s is a degenerative brain disease with devastating effects on both the victim and his or her family. Those who suffer from Alzheimer’s experience a slowly increasing memory loss that affects all aspects of life. Symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease

Specific types of memory loss are more common with Alzheimer’s than others. Sufferers of Alzheimer’s often begin to show the following signs and symptoms:

  • Consistently lose items, such as clothes or jewelry
  • Unprecedented problems with speech or writing
  • Being taken advantage of, such as paying more than needed
  • Consistently forget their location or time
  • Becoming emotionally rattled when forgetting anything
