Court documents have revealed that Hollywood actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died in February of 2014, did not leave his fortune to his three kids, but instead left his entire estate to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Mimi O’Donnell.
A will signed by Hoffman in October 2004 named O’Donnell as the executor of his will. Court filings indicate that Hoffman felt confident that O’Donnell would use the money to care for their children appropriately. Also stipulated in the will is Hoffman’s desire that his eldest be raised in a “city of art and culture.”
